Wauwinet, Small Brim - Leghorn Straw with Bound Edge
The Wauwinet hat is the epitome of New England elegance. An updated take on our signature style, these bound edge hats are finished with either white or black grosgrain around the brim. Featuring a tall crown and a downturned brim, this dramatic hat is sure to turn heads.
Material
Our thin leghorn straw is hand-braided and then lock-stitched and blocked into shape. This is our stiffest straw.
Bound Edge
An optional white or black grosgrain bound edge is sure to make this style pop.
Trim
Ships with our widest 3" black grosgrain ribbon with a hand-tied bow for the black bound edge and a white ribbon to match the white bound edge option. We recommend a 3" ribbon due to the height of the crown on this shape. However, this hat can also work with a thinner, flat-tailored bow, or without any trim for a sleek, simple look.
