Wauwinet & Sconset Hats

Often imitated but never duplicated, the Wauwinet and Sconset hats are our most popular and timeless silhouettes. Having been part of the Signature Collection from the very beginning, these hats have stood the test of time and are synonymous with Peter Beaton and Nantucket style.

An elegant, downturned silhouette, the versatile Wauwinet can be worn with our tallest (and preppiest) 3" ribbon, paired with 2" and 1" ribbon for any occasion, and is frequently seen along Nantucket's picturesque beaches dressed with a simple leather or raffia cord or sans any trim at all. It is the only style we offer in our unique pink underbrim.

The Sconset hat features a 2" ribbon and an upturned brim that can be worn down in the front, back, or all at once, deftly taking you from town to country. A staple of many multigenerational Nantucket families, the Sconset hat is the first style we offered in children's sizes, and looks just as chic on each subsequent generation that dons it - at every one of life's stages.
